CLA held the second annual Day of Czech Logistics
Czech Logistics Association held in collaboration with company RELIANT the second annual Day of Czech Logistics. The trade fair took place on April 21 within the project European Supply Chain Day and a number of companies from transportation, logistics and various related fields presented their services at the event. Within the fair, there was also a ceremony of awarding European Certificates ECBL.
The fair was open to broad professional public and well attended as nearly 300 visitors headed for the retail passage of the hotel Courtyard by Marriott Prague at the Václav Havel Airport Prague. They found not only expositions but also rich accompanying program including several panel discussions. The visitors had a unique possibility to look into the current developments in the transportation and logistics and to be acquainted with many successful solutions and progressive technologies in this field.
The Day of Czech Logistics was supported by 36 trade fair partners. Among the exhibitors were companies as Bohemiakombi, Kalmar, EWT, EPAL, ESA, Linde, ČSOB, Tamtron, GS1, BITO, SATUM, IBG, CTP, OLTIS, ICZ, 108Agency, Tamtron, Newled and many others. One of the stands belonged to the humanitarian organization Médecins Sans Frontières, since logistics is a very important for their operations when they deliver emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics and natural disasters.
The accompanying programme included a panel discussion ‘Intralogistics and its place in the supply chain’, a lecture from European Pallet Association EPAL on pallet management and an interactive workshop focused to the up-to-date packaging materials, technologies, and how to work with them. Many active presentations were held just at the stands.
The important part of the fair programme was the ceremony of awarding European Certificates ECBL to the successful graduated from certification programme ELA (European Logistics Association), which Czech Logistics Association provides as a member of ELA. The aim is to raise the qualifications European logistic professionals and the possibility of their employment.
Czech Logistics Association has been participating in the fair trade programme European Supply Chain Day already for the second year. In the Czech Republic, the fairs are called Day of Czech Logistics.
