WORKSHOPS: Analysis of the flow of materials and information in the Supply Chain. Mapping of the Supply Chain process.

We are proud to announce that the University of Economics in Katowice has decided to join the celebration of ‘European Supply Chain Day’ which was settled by the European Logistics Association (ELA) on 16th April. That day, from 09:30 a.m. until 13.00 p.m., students from the university will have an unique opportunity to participate in the workshop called ‘Analysis of Physical and Information Flow within The Supply Chain. Mapping of The Supply Chain Processes’. The workshop is the initiative of the Department of Business Logistics and is provided by its partners: Valeo and BeLean.
The Workshop Program:
1. Introduction: what is the Flow Analysis and in what areas can it be implemented.
2. Case study.
3. Preparation of the students for the workshop.
4. The development of visual Flow Analysis based on the case study.
5. Planning the activities related to optimization of the supply chain flow.
6. Conclusions.
Comments
The workshop is dedicated for all students interested in logistics, lean and techniques that allow to increase the efficiency of the supply chain. Two tracks will be held simultaneously between 09:30 a.m. and 13.00 p.m. (local time). Each group - 15 participants.
