Heviz, Western Hungary: new, emerging technological and logistics hub
Description
Heviz, Zala county, Hungary: a new emerging place for technologies and logistics. Zala county, and Heviz within, steps onto new ways. The town has long been known for tourism, the thermal lake and fine hotels. However, it becomes a hub for new technologies and logistics in the close future. A new industrial and innovation park will be deployed at Heviz-Balaton International airport along with a new highway M76, featuring 'smart road' concept, 5G network and new gateway for trimodal logistics: highway, international airport with railway connection (IATA: SOB) and a state-of-the-art intermodal center in the close Zalaegerszeg. The new highway appoints a new industrial and innovation corridor (T-M76) in western Hungary, on a never-before aisle. Heviz and Zala: new words for innovation and logistics.
