Registration phase for the Supply Chain Day is underway

16.01.2024

The 17th Supply Chain Day will take place on 18 April 2024. Companies, organisations and institutes can currently register events free of charge to give people interested in logistics an insight into Germany's third-largest economic sector.

The registration phase for events on the 17th Supply Chain Day has begun. On this Europe-wide day of action, companies, organisations and institutes from the world of logistics will open their doors and present their diverse tasks, training opportunities and job profiles to the public. Since it was launched by the German Logistics Association (BVL) in 2008, Supply Chain Day has been held every third Thursday in April; the next date is 18 April 2024.

The Supply Chain Day is a non-profit organisation and events are free of charge for visitors. In addition, there are no limits to the organisers' imagination: In recent years, company tours, specialist lectures, business games, talks, forklift driving courses and much more have been realised. Digital or hybrid events such as webinars, video conferences, blogs, vlogs and the like are also possible. Organisers should start planning their event offerings now. They can also draw attention to it in their press work, on websites and in social media.

For organisers, the Supply Chain Day is an opportunity both to strengthen the image of the entire sector and to increase their own visibility in their specialist area and region. At the same time, they can highlight job and career prospects and thus attract potential employees, which in turn benefits logistics as a whole.

Companies can register as organisers free of charge here. If they are particularly committed to the business sector, they can also support the Supply Chain Day as a premium partner. For initiatives and associations that would like to participate with their network, cooperation as a conceptual partner is possible.
