Tours in eight logistics and distribution centres
Amazon was a partner of Supply Chain Day for the third time in a row. But the online mail order company has been organising events on this day of action since 2010. This year, Amazon took part with eight events at various locations. Participants were able to take an exclusive look behind the scenes on Supply Chain Day and gain an impression of work at Amazon and career opportunities in logistics. They also learnt more about the processes, workflows and technical innovations at Amazon during the one-hour tours.

"We have been organising events on Supply Chain Day since 2010 and in 2024, the day of action was once again a complete success for us. Over 400 participants were able to visit numerous Amazon logistics, sorting and distribution centres to get an idea of how diverse the jobs, education and training opportunities and career opportunities in logistics are. In this way, we not only show the general public how colourful the world of logistics is. We can also increase our visibility as an employer among new skilled workers or prospective trainees in the region."
